This unit will do everything the same as your previous unit. The WPLN4243 Radio Charger Base is a Motorola Original Impres Single Unit Charger. The WPLN4243 Battery Charger Base this is the Charger Base Only. AC Power Supply Must Be Purchased Separately. Indicator lights shows the current state of the charging process. Provides adaptive, automatic reconditioning for IMPRES batteries to maximize talk time and cycle life. Advanced charging algorithm keeps batteries cooler so that they can be kept in the charger for extended periods. Display models provide real time charge status information.In addition, batteries left on the charger are kept fully charged so they are always ready when you need them.
